Head Chef

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our Cafe kitchen team. You will be working with the finest meat produced on our farm which is prepared by our highly skilled team of butchers, alongside local fresh produce which is of the highest quality which at your disposal to create freshly prepared dishes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food preparation, production, and presentation. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and creating a positive work environment for your team.

Duties

• Lead and manage the kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production.

• Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

• Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen at all times.

• Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.

• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.

• Strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management.

• Demonstrated ability to supervise a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.

• A passion for cooking with an understanding of current culinary trends.

• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
