Responsibilities:
- Answering and dealing with calls promptly and ensuring where required these are routed to the correct person.
- Responsible for sorting and distributing all internal mail and deliveries, as well as processing and dispatching all external mail.
- Oversee and maintain the weekly movement record for all UK sites.
- Responsible for the ordering of stationery for both Ossett and Corby sites.
- Arrange car hire for NWF personnel as required.
- Manage and allocate company pool cars for employees based at the Ossett site.
- Organise taxi bookings for NWF employees and visitors, as required.
- Book, manage and maintain meeting rooms.
- Arrange onsite meeting buffets and verify supplier invoices.
- Order corporate clothing for NWF personnel.
- Source and order new office furniture in line with business requirements.
- Raise purchase orders, as required.
- Assist with site Health and Safety compliance fire alarm testing.
- Liaise with account holders to support with customer visits and distribute visit briefs accordingly.
- Arrange secure disposal of confidential materials, as required.
- Provide cross-functional administrative support to cover holidays and absences within the Ossett administration team.
Miscellaneous:
The above responsibilities and duties are not exhaustive, as you will be expected as required and directed by your manager to accept changes in responsibility or other duties within the department or other areas, subject to suitable knowledge or training. To undertake such training as is viewed necessary by the company to improve personal performance or to meet the overall business objectives.
Person Specification:
- Experience in a reception, front‑of‑house, or administrative role.
- Strong administrative background with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience using switchboards or multi‑line phone systems (desirable).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and general IT systems.
- Experience coordinating bookings (e.g., meeting rooms, taxis, car hire) is advantageous.
