The Role: To support the Technical team to ensure raw materials comply with food safety and legislative requirements. Ensure relevant goods intake checks are carried out within a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensuring timely review managing hold stock;
- Raw material testing;
- Goods intake checks.
- A degree or equivalent in a Food Science or related discipline.
- Knowledge of food legislation, labelling, nutritional and allergen information.
- A strong communicator with a conscientious and diligent attitude.
- The ability to be flexible, multitask and work well under pressure.
- An understanding of technical systems including HACCP.
- Competency in Microsoft Word/Excel.
- Physically fit to undertake manual handling, taste testing.
- There may be times when you may need to cover other roles within the business and so flexibility is important.
