Based on Manton Road, Newly Weds Foods has been operational in Corby since 2002. The site is proud to be the only industrial ingredients manufacturer in Europe with a unique process that creates authentic Japanese “Panko” style breadcrumb.
To be responsible for the day to day Food Safety and Quality activities at the Corby Site.
Food Safety & Quality
§ Carry out monthly internal audits including GMP, Hygiene, Glass and Hard Plastics and HACCP Controls.
§ In conjunction with the site supervision, ensure that all Internal Food Safety Incidents are thoroughly investigated and documented.
§ Carry out periodic finished product testing and arrange ring testing all those conducting testing on site.
§ Manage the pest control activities on the site and ensure that any action raised by the pest control contractor are closed in a timely manner.
§ Prepare and send samples for external analysis as required.
§ Carry out monthly environmental monitoring and water testing in line with company policies.
§ Assist in the maintenance and implementation of the Quality Management system on the site.
§ Investigate and respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.
§ Raise and follow up supplier complaints as required.
§ Actively participate in the site Food Safety plan as a member of HACCP team
§ Site management team and morning meeting.

Training
§ Carry out induction Food Safety Training for all new starters at the site.
§ Deliver regular Food Safety Refresher training for all site staff.
Food Safety Level 3 (desirable)

Location – Newly Weds Foods, Corby
Working hours / pattern – 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
