We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Advisor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting HR functions, ensuring smooth communication between departments, and maintaining accurate employee data. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong organisational aptitude and a passion for human resources to contribute to organisational growth and employee engagement.
Responsibilities- Ensure department operations are conducted in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
- Provide an efficient and responsive information and advisory service to managers and employees, regarding all aspects of human resource matters including terms and conditions of employment, HR policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to Managers on employee relations and performance management issues.
- Provide advice and support to Managers regarding all aspects of disciplinary and grievance matters acting as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances in order to prevent escalation of issues.
- Monitor absence levels within company agreed KPI’s and manage the application of the Company’s Absence Management Policy to ensure consistency is maintained across all departments and absence levels are continuously controlled.
- Liaise with management and the company’s medical advisors to ensure that necessary employee referrals are completed and assessment information provided.
- Provide ad hoc HR information and reports in response to business requirements.
- Contribute to Company projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and departmental systems and processes.
- Ensure all Company procedures are effectively applied at all times.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures, in line with legislative and Company requirements.
- CIPD LEVEL 5 (or equivalent) qualified or working towards.
- Previous experience working within a HR environment with sound knowledge and understanding of good HR practice and employment law.
- A working knowledge of HR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with personnel from across the business of varying levels of seniority.
- Ability to manage tight and fluid deadlines with the ability to work flexibly around the varying needs of the job.
