We are seeking to recruit an experienced Customer Service Advisor within our Supply Chain Department. This is a busy and exciting role, based at the UK and European Head Office in Ossett. Reporting into the Customer Service Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for meeting the needs of our UK and European customers.

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining regular contact with sales teams and customers.
- Proactively responding to customer need and Plant production capability, around lead times, delivery requirements and floor stock holdings.
- Ensuring that work is prioritised in accordance with customer demand, and any changes to scheduling are discussed with the Customer if necessary.
- Arranging stock transfers.
- Actively working towards a nil level of complaints and work to a “right first time” policy.
- Providing accurate and timely information to our delivery and warehousing teams and if relevant, customs authorities in line with legal requirements and standards.
Skills required:
- Previous customer service experience is essential.
- The successful applicant must be able to prioritise their workload, work to deadlines and work effectively when under pressure.
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Good IT skills.
Additional Information:
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08.30-17.00 with an hour break. Note, this is also a 12 month fixed-term contract.
