The Role

Part of the production team you will also assist in the management of the day to day Blending operation as required. In addition, you will also stand in for the Supervisor during absences and holidays as agreed with the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily running of the Blending operation during the night shift.
  • Cover for the Blending Supervisor during absences and holidays, as agreed with the Production Manager.
  • Ensure the Blending process is followed correctly to meet production, quality, and safety standards.
  • Lead and support the team, ensuring clear communication and positive teamwork on shift.
  • Identify and resolve issues quickly, escalating where necessary.
  • Organise and prioritise workload to maintain efficient production.
  • Maintain high Health & Safety standards and safe working practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), including hygiene and quality controls.
  • Complete required production and quality records accurately using computer systems.
  • Be flexible to cover other shifts and work overtime when required.

Person Specification

  • A good understanding of the whole Blending process.
  • Excellent motivational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactively identify and address problems, taking the appropriate action required.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Maintain and develop Health & Safety standards and requirements.
  • Maintain and implement Good Manufacturing practices, including hygiene and quality control.
  • Computer Literate.

Any Other Information

Hours – normal hours of work will be following the nights working pattern 18:00 - 06:00am. However, flexibility will be required to cover for other shifts and work overtime to meet production demands.
