The Role
To prepare and make product samples in the New Product Development kitchen, according to customer briefs, company recipes and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare product samples (e.g. sauces/marinades/dressings/pellets) in the kitchen
- Check and record product sample pH and viscosity
- Complete finished product QAS
- Ensure product sample conforms to the recipe, which will include taste tasting
- Prepare boxes of samples for dispatch to the customer
- Prepare samples and products for testing externally
- Provide general assistance
- Input recipes (and make amendments) to the Company’s Database System
- Ensure all raw materials are available when needed
- General hygiene and housekeeping duties
- Liaising with colleagues in Production, Buying, Warehouse, Technical
- Creating and maintaining effective working relationships with customers and colleagues
- Taking responsibility for own development and progression
