The Role

As a Blend Operative, you’ll support the smooth running of production by carrying out a variety of key tasks including weighing, mixing, packing, stacking and material handling. You’ll play an important part in ensuring our products are safe, high‑quality and manufactured to specification. You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting any issues relating to quality, safety, sanitation, machinery or production flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality & Documentation: Manufacture products to the required specification and check packaging and labeling. Complete all paperwork accurately and on time. Input all relevant data into company systems. Support updates to work instructions and procedures.
  • Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean and hygienic work area at all times. Follow all NWF Health & Safety Regulations and report hazards promptly. Work in line with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
  • General Duties: Assist with annual stock takes. Take part in training and help support new team members. Follow all company policies, procedures, and hygiene standards. Carry out other duties within the scope of the role.

  • Literate, numerate and able to follow procedures.
  • Reliable, methodical and calm under pressure.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong awareness of health & safety.

Extra Information

Days Shift 7am-7pm (12 hour shifts) with a salary of £30,985.53 + 18% shift allowance.
