We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support the Business Intelligence function by ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and trusted, enabling the delivery of meaningful insights and high-quality reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Intelligence: Collect, validate, and maintain high-quality data to ensure colleagues and decision-makers have access to accurate and reliable information.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Develop engaging dashboards and reports, communicate findings clearly, and provide evidence-based recommendations that support excellent service delivery, effective asset management, and informed decision-making.
  • Benchmarking: Compare organisational performance against sector peers to identify best practices, highlight opportunities for improvement, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Insight & Interpretation: Use analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify trends, anomalies, and key insights, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.

Working closely with IT and operational teams, you will provide ongoing assurance to managers and senior leaders regarding data quality, governance, and opportunities for improvement.

About You

  • Proven experience working in a data-driven environment with large and complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with multiple data sources.
  • Experience entering, maintaining, and validating data across various IT systems and databases.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of data analysis and data modelling.
  • A naturally inquisitive mindset with the ability to communicate findings clearly to a range of stakeholders.
