We have an opportunity for an experienced Planned Works Manager to join us in a new Planned Works team.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the delivery of all Newlon's capital and cyclical planned works programmes.
  • Managing the on-site delivery of all workstreams, with a focus on quality, cost control and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing and supporting the Planned Works team.
  • Liaising with and managing contractors, consultants and residents to ensure all works are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
  • Ensuring tight financial control of work programmes to ensure they are completed on time and to budget.

Qualifications

  • HNC, or equivalent, in Building/Construction, and CIOB/RICS membership.
  • Substantial proven experience in a property surveying, site inspector or quality management role delivering large value planned works programmes.
  • Excellent knowledge of current housing law and regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Demonstrable experience of writing in depth inspection reports, and preparing schedules of work and programming.
  • First class project management skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
