Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London. We have an opportunity for a highly pro‑active and customer‑focused individual to join our team and support our Housing Lawyer in the effective management of a caseload of housing disrepair claims, from pre‑action stage through to the settlement of court proceedings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate case records and monitor deadlines.
- Collate evidence and legal documentation for each claim.
- Liaise with residents, surveyors, solicitors and other departments to facilitate claims.
- Assist with the progression and resolution of claims from pre‑action to court.
Qualifications
- Proven experience within a housing litigation or case management environment.
- First‑class customer service skills and ability to manage service issues effectively.
- Excellent administration and IT skills, with strong planning and organisational abilities.
- Capacity to manage a large and varied workload.
