The predicted salary is between 44000 - 66000 Β£ per year.

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Β£55,000 per annum plus eligibility to earn up to 5% performance related bonus

Responsibilities

  • Exercise quality control of remediation works through on-site inspections
  • Identify non-compliance, building defects and address issues with relevant parties
  • Scrutinise drawings and specifications, audit them for errors and omissions
  • Ensure design issues are resolved efficiently and effectively in collaboration with Project Managers
  • Develop designs to be low maintenance and cost effective with future maintenance and service charge costs in mind

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Quality Manager, Site Inspector, Clerk of Works or Defects-based role)
  • Preferably within the housing sector
  • Experience in auditing information, snagging and handover process
  • Knowledge of current building practice and regulations, including emerging requirements in fire and structural safety of residential buildings
  • Understanding of constraints and pressures at handover and defects stage in housing development
