Salary: Β£55,000 per annum plus eligibility to earn up to 5% performance related bonus

Responsibilities
- Exercise quality control of remediation works through on-site inspections
- Identify non-compliance, building defects and address issues with relevant parties
- Scrutinise drawings and specifications, audit them for errors and omissions
- Ensure design issues are resolved efficiently and effectively in collaboration with Project Managers
- Develop designs to be low maintenance and cost effective with future maintenance and service charge costs in mind
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role (Quality Manager, Site Inspector, Clerk of Works or Defects-based role)
- Preferably within the housing sector
- Experience in auditing information, snagging and handover process
- Knowledge of current building practice and regulations, including emerging requirements in fire and structural safety of residential buildings
- Understanding of constraints and pressures at handover and defects stage in housing development
