This is a full-time hybrid role for a Lead Installer at Newline Highways. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, the position allows a combination of on-site work and some remote tasks.
Responsibilities include:- Leading installation projects for Vehicle Restraint Systems (VRS), fencing, and other highway safety systems.
- Overseeing teams to ensure safety compliance and maintaining project timelines.
- Collaborating with project stakeholders to deliver quality work.
- Responding to emergency repair needs when required.
- Experience with installation and maintenance of Vehicle Restraint Systems, General Fencing, or related highway safety infrastructure.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to effectively delegate tasks and ensure safety practices are followed.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards, highway regulations, and safe excavation practices.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and authorities.
- Professional certifications or qualifications in construction, highways, or safety are a plus.
- Ability to work flexibly, including handling on-site and emergency repair scenarios.
