About the Role
AsStore Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store, driving sales, delivering outstanding customer service, and leading a high-performing team. Your focus will be on operational excellence, team development, and achieving ambitious performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations:
- Oversee all daily store activities, including opening and closing.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
- Manage stock levels, inventory replenishment, and shrinkage control.
Sales & Customer Service:
- Set and monitor sales goals and KPIs.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
- Support staff with sales techniques and customer engagement strategies.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop store team members.
- Create and manage rotas, monitor payroll hours, and assign duties.
- Inspire a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
Financial Management:
- Monitor store budgets and financial performance.
- Prepare and present sales and operational reports.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards.
- Promote a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers.
What Were Looking For
Experience & Knowledge:
- Proven management experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong background in team leadership, recruitment, and performance management.
- Confident decision-maker with the ability to lead through change and under pressure.
- Experience in operational retail processes, including stock control and store security.
Skills:
- Adaptable leadership style with empathy and emotional intelligence.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong IT, time management, and analytical capabilities.
- Numerate, literate, and detail-oriented.
- Resilient and self-motivated.
