Newlands is a purpose built primary generic 120 place special school, co-located with Hollin Primary to form Hollin Learning Community. Due to the departure of our Headteacher, the Governors of this popular, friendly and caring school are offering you this exciting opportunity to apply for the Headship. The Governors aspire to the school achieving even greater success. The Governors are therefore looking for a dynamic, motivated, innovative and inspirational educator who, whilst building on the excellent work to date will:

  • Inspire all of our children and staff to reach their full potential;
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and have a forward-thinking vision for the school;
  • Promote genuine collaborative teamwork by motivating, managing and inspiring staff through excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Build on already strong relationships that exist between the school, the co-located partner school, parents and the wider community.
