We are seeking a full-time Science Teacher to join our team at NewHeart Learning in Peterborough. This is an on-site role where you will deliver engaging and tailored science lessons to students aged 11–16, ensuring their academic and personal development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating individualized lesson plans
  • Teaching core science subjects (including physics)
  • Fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that meets the unique needs of each pupil
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other professionals to support students’ learning journeys and emotional well-being

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Science Education and experience teaching science topics
  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
  • Competence in Lesson Planning and delivering instruction tailored to individual students’ needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and inspire students
  • Experience in or understanding of working with students with SEMH and EBSA needs is a plus
