We are seeking a full-time Science Teacher to join our team at NewHeart Learning in Peterborough. This is an on-site role where you will deliver engaging and tailored science lessons to students aged 11–16, ensuring their academic and personal development.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating individualized lesson plans
- Teaching core science subjects (including physics)
- Fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that meets the unique needs of each pupil
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other professionals to support students’ learning journeys and emotional well-being
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Science Education and experience teaching science topics
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
- Competence in Lesson Planning and delivering instruction tailored to individual students’ needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and inspire students
- Experience in or understanding of working with students with SEMH and EBSA needs is a plus
