The Hub works to improve mathematics teaching in state-funded schools so that all pupils develop a deep and secure understanding of the subject. By bringing together schools, colleges, and education professionals, we foster collaboration, share expertise, and support high-quality professional development, underpinned by the belief that every pupil can succeed with the right teaching and curriculum. Our vision is for pupils to experience mathematics as coherent, connected, challenging, and enjoyable, developing the fluency and understanding needed to apply it in the wider world. The Hub collaborates with a growing network of schools across North East London and surrounding areas, supported by a community of Local Leaders of Maths Education (LLMEs) who facilitate professional learning through collaborative Work Groups.
Responsibilities
- Managing social media channels and digital communications
- Creating high-quality marketing materials and content
- Promoting events, programmes, and opportunities
- Supporting website updates and online presence
- Coordinating communications with schools and partners
- Supporting events, bookings, and participant engagement
- Maintaining accurate records through CRM systems and supporting data management
- Providing administrative support, including managing enquiries and supporting programme delivery
About you
We are seeking a creative, organised, and proactive Marketing and Communications Coordinator to lead the implementation of the Hub's communication and engagement strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in raising awareness of the Hub's professional development programmes, strengthening communication with schools, and supporting engagement across our network of educators and Local Leaders of Maths Education. The role combines marketing, communications, digital content creation, event promotion, and administrative coordination to ensure the Hub's programmes reach and engage schools effectively.
