Overview
Teaching Assistant Course Leader — £42,771 - £45,750 per annum pro-rata • Part-time
Responsibilities
- Provide teaching to adult learners and support high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
- Lead teams, embed digital learning and promote inclusive practice.
- Champion safeguarding, equality and diversity; ensure adherence to safeguarding, SEND, behaviour management and classroom support expectations for the TA role.
- Understand and apply the Education Inspection Framework, internal quality assurance processes, compliance requirements and awarding body standards.
- Carry out work placement assessments alongside teaching, marking and feedback.
Qualifications
- Qualified teacher status or equivalent (DTLLS / PGCE / Cert Ed / Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training or equivalent).
- Substantial experience in school-based support roles and confidence teaching adult learners.
- Strong leadership experience and a professional commitment to learner success.
