Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for people management policy development, extensive knowledge of local government employment terms and conditions and leading HR projects? About the role:
As a Senior HR Consultant in our HR Policy and Reward team, you will:
- Provide high-quality HR services: Advise on a range of HR responsibilities to support the direction of our organisation.
- Lead projects and research: Drive innovative ideas to enhance our HR&OD service.
- Build productive relationships: Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and Trade Unions.
- Show resilience and adaptability: Balance competing priorities and deliver to timescales in a dynamic environment.
What we’re looking for:
- HR Expertise: CIPD qualified or equivalent experience within the HR&OD profession.
- Strategic and Operational Knowledge: Broad understanding of people management policies, local government term and conditions of employment, employee recognition, health & well-being initiatives and delivering projects.
- Advisory Skills: Confidently advise senior leaders and service managers to make sound and lawful decisions.
