Our Private Sector Housing Standards team in Newham is looking for a Senior Private Sector Housing Officer to lead regulatory work within the private rented sector. The role involves carrying out multi‑agency inspections of unlicensed properties, checking licence conditions, and inspecting properties in disrepair.
About the Job
- Carry out high‑standard regulatory work protecting tenants and promoting fairer private rented properties.
- Manage a caseload of inspection and enforcement cases, working both independently and as part of a team.
- Lead multi‑agency operations and collaborate with external and internal partners.

Qualifications & Experience
- Expert knowledge of the Housing Act 2004 and related housing legislation.
