We are currently recruiting for two Childcare Lecturers. One will be based at our East Ham campus and the other will be at our NewVic Campus.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Lecturer in Childcare to join our Health Sciences team. You'll be delivering high-quality teaching across a range of levels. You'll play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential, developing engaging course content, and staying in tune with both industry standards and local needs.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Teaching and assessing learners across a range of Childcare courses.
  • Supporting student retention, achievement, and progression.
  • Acting as a personal tutor/course coordinator for designated groups.
  • Developing high-quality teaching materials and schemes of work.
  • Engaging with employers and external bodies to support placements and career opportunities.
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of curriculum and quality assurance processes.
  • Contributing to marketing, curriculum development, and course coordination activities.
  • Embracing CPD (minimum of 30 hours annually) to stay current in your field.

  • A degree or professional qualification in a Childcare-related field.
  • Teaching qualification (or working towards one).
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in the field of Childcare.
  • Experience teaching or training in the subject area.
