About Us: Newham College London, now merged with NewVIc Sixth Form College, is the largest post-16 education provider in Newham. With campuses in East Ham, Stratford, Plaistow, and the London City Institute of Technology (LCIoT) in Canning Town, we serve over 11,000 students across a range of pathways – including 16–18 study, adult education, apprenticeships, and higher education. The Role: We’re looking for a proactive, organised and student‑focused Personal Development Co‑ordinator to support the delivery of high‑quality personal development, wellbeing and progression support across our 16–19 study programmes:

  • Co‑ordinate a small team, including rotas, absence, holidays and professional development.
  • Deliver and organise CORE sessions covering British values, careers, safeguarding, wellbeing, citizenship, financial literacy and online safety.
  • Plan and arrange workshops with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Work closely with Course Tutors to support attendance, behaviour and targeted interventions.
  • Hold 1‑1 meetings with students, especially those at risk, to set actions and support retention.
