The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are recruiting a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team on an hourly paid basis. Full‑time (36 hours) and part‑time (28.8 and 21.6 hours) positions are available. The salary will be pro‑rata according to the hours and will include London weighting.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high‑quality, creative, and inclusive teaching tailored to SEND learners.
  • Develop and implement schemes of learning, lesson plans and resources.
  • Act as a course tutor, tracking and supporting student progress.
  • Contribute to course development, reviews and quality improvement.
  • Support learners with progression pathways and employability skills.
  • Promote positive behaviour and safeguarding at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised Level 5 teaching qualification.
  • Minimum Level 2 in English & Maths (GCSE Grade C/4 or above).
  • Recent experience teaching learners with SEND, including those with complex needs.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and equality of opportunity.
