We have an amazing opportunity to join Newground Together as our new Learning & Accreditations Coordinator. This is your chance to lead and develop a motivated team delivering high-quality, community-based learning and accredited training across our delivery footprint. You will oversee accreditation systems, ensure compliance with awarding bodies, drive performance against contracts and funding requirements, manage budgets, secure additional income, and build strong partnerships internally and externally. Most importantly, you will shape learning provision that genuinely changes lives supporting residents and communities to build skills, confidence and opportunity.

Requirements
- Lead and manage a committed learning delivery team, motivating and supporting staff to achieve high standards
- Ensure tutors' CPD remains current and compliant with awarding body requirements
- Embed strong people management practices including supervision, coaching and performance development
- Oversee accreditation systems and ensure full compliance with awarding bodies and quality standards
- Deliver against contractual KPIs, ensuring accurate monitoring, evaluation and reporting
- Develop and maintain learning policies, procedures and quality assurance frameworks
- Support the design and development of innovative accredited and non-accredited learning programmes
- Manage project and contract budgets, monitor income and expenditure and prepare financial reports
- Identify and secure local funding opportunities and generate external commercial income
- Build strong relationships with funders, partners, Together Housing colleagues and external networks
- Promote Newground Together's social impact across communities
- Ensure positive engagement with participants, aligning delivery to meet local needs
- Maintain robust health and safety standards across delivery sites
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, GDPR and equality, diversity and inclusion principles
- Contribute to continuous improvement and business development planning
We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:
- Experience within the training and education sector
- Experience of leading and motivating teams within accredited learning environments
- Experience working within quality assurance systems to improve teaching, learning and assessment
- Experience managing budgets and delivering against performance targets
- Experience supporting organisations through audits and inspection regimes
- Strong knowledge of awarding bodies and verification requirements
- Experience reporting to awarding bodies and using their online portals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong understanding of the challenges facing communities experiencing deprivation
- The ability to plan, evaluate and continuously improve services
Qualifications:
- Level 5 qualification in Teaching, Training or related discipline
- Level 3 Award/Certificate in Assessing
- Level 4 Certificate in Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)
- Degree level qualification (or equivalent)
- Commitment to Continuous Professional Development
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use
Benefits
In return, we are offering the successful candidate in the Learning & Accreditation Coordinator role a starting salary of £39,295 per annum - Pay award pending, 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays. You will organise your week by allocating your time between our office located in Blackburn (BB1) and the nearby delivery hubs. You will be working 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
