NewGen EMEA operates a hybrid culture in our London and Manchester offices. We expect office attendance at least 3 days per week, with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday being mandatory.

The role:
We’re looking for an outstanding social creative director to help lead the campaign department while the current ECD is on maternity leave and on her return will report to her as together you help grow the department. This role will carry the torch in best‑in‑class creative output, embodying the belief that brands must grow from communities up, using social and creator first tactics while also understanding the bigger brand picture.
As a senior hire, you will have the autonomy to lead creative projects and client presentations, steer the department in the absence of the ECD, and provide the team with support and guidance to shape their campaigns.
Beyond brand campaign work, this role will liaise with the content team to ensure the overall ambition and quality of our organic output.

Requirements:
- Conceptualise and lead social‑first campaigns that deliver best‑in‑class creativity for our clients across platforms.
- Work with the editorial social team on executing campaign creative for peak optimisation across channels.
- Help educate and upskill junior team members on the development of campaign creative.
- Work with the studio, design and production team to execute campaigns at the highest standard.
- Present to clients and sell creative work that is on‑brand and positively challenges them.
- Bring a positive and proactive energy to the team and inspire the agency creatively.
- Hold creative workshop sessions with the wider agency to help our creative culture breed through the agency.
- At least 8 years of creative‑agency experience.
- An impressive portfolio of social‑first work.
- Ideally you showcase strong understanding of brand and are confident in leading platform work too.
- Manage and support the current creative team and support their growth.
