  • About New Gen

Welcome to New Gen.

We're a global social creative and creator agency made up of over 100 talented people worldwide with offices in London, Manchester, New York and Paris.

We partner with leading brands to shape culture, tell stories that matter and harness the power of social first creative and creators to drive meaningful impact.

Founded by our 30-under-30 co-founders, New Gen is an independent agency working with some of the world's biggest brands.

Privately owned and built to challenge the big networks and stale traditional agencies, we move fast, live social and believe fresh ideas can compete with anyone.

Our work is trusted by some of the world's biggest brands including Pepsi, Samsung, Amazon, SEGA and Cash App, and we're the agency of choice for leading creators shaping culture today.

The Role

New Gen Multiple is our proprietary technology product and one of the biggest bets we're making as an agency.

It's already live, it's already winning attention with clients and at industry events, and we're now investing to take it to the next level.

We're looking for an AI Product Manager to own Multiple end to end.

You'll take the product from where it is today and drive its evolution: shaping and delivering the roadmap, building and shipping new features, and making sure every client touchpoint with Multiple is best in class.

This is a genuinely hands-on role.

You'll be prototyping, building and iterating yourself, with Claude Code as a core part of your daily toolkit.

You'll sit in our Manchester office at the centre of our growing AI team, working closely with our Chief AI Officer and our wider AI product function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership
  • Own New Gen Multiple as a product: vision, roadmap, prioritisation and delivery
  • Adapt and build against the product roadmap, evolving it as client needs and the market change
  • Define success metrics for the product and report on adoption, performance and impact
  • Balance quick wins with the longer-term product vision
  • Build and Ship
  • Develop new features and enhance existing ones, with a relentless focus on client experience
  • Prototype and build hands-on using Claude Code and modern AI tooling
  • Ship fast, test with real users, iterate and improve
  • Maintain quality, reliability and security standards as the product scales
  • Platform Integrations
  • Act as the direct point of contact for social platforms on all integrations
  • Own API relationships, integration health, access and compliance across platforms
  • Stay ahead of platform changes and turn new platform capabilities into product opportunities
  • Clients and Stakeholders
  • Stay on top of client requests, feedback and updates, and close the loop every time
  • Translate client needs into a clear, prioritised backlog
  • Support demos of Multiple to clients, prospects and at industry events
  • Work with account teams to embed Multiple into client work and drive adoption
  • Team and Ways of Working
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief AI Officer, AI Product Manager and AI video team
  • Champion AI-first ways of working across the agency
  • Document decisions, releases and integrations so knowledge scales beyond you
  • We'd Love You To Have
  • Proven product management experience, ideally on an AI, Saa S or platform product
  • Hands-on experience with Claude Code (this is a must)
  • Experience working with platform APIs and managing third party integrations
  • Strong technical fluency: comfortable prototyping, reading code and working directly with engineers and AI tooling
  • A client-first mindset and the confidence to present and demo to senior stakeholders
  • Experience in or genuine enthusiasm for the social, creator or gaming space
  • A bias for shipping: you'd rather get a version live and learn than perfect it in a doc
  • Comfort with ambiguity and pace: this product is growing fast and the role will grow with it

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • 30 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus your birthday off
  • Hybrid working from our Manchester office
  • Company pension scheme
  • Private health and wellbeing support
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Personal learning and development budget
  • Regular team socials and company events across our offices
  • Access to the biggest events in social, gaming and creator culture
  • The chance to shape a flagship product at one of the UK's fastest growing independent agencies

How to prepare for a job interview at NewGen

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If NewGen uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
