This role is focused on developing strong, platform-first social concepts for high-profile client accounts, shaping ideas that translate into engaging, culturally relevant content. You’ll play a key role in building social calendars, responding to trends, and contributing to large-scale social activations across key moments in the year. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of social platforms, proven experience coming up with ideas that perform, and the ability to turn insights into clear, compelling concepts for brands and creators to execute.
- Creative Ideation & Insight
- Own the generation of social-first ideas across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
- Use cultural insights, platform behaviour, and audience data to spark highly relevant ideas that fit the brand, the moment, and the brief.
- Monitor trends daily (formats, sounds, memes, behaviour shifts) and proactively surface opportunities for brands to join conversations in a smart, strategic way.
- Lead brainstorms and rapid-response ideation sessions, ensuring the output is insight-driven, on-brand and platform-native.
- Translate social insights into simple, actionable creative directions.
- Develop creative concepts into tangible pieces of content:
- Work closely with studio/content teams to bring ideas to life.
- Review all outgoing creative with a creative eye pushing for thumb-stopping, best-in-class execution every time.
- When needed, create content yourself (copy, images, lo-fi edits, TikTok-style executions, memes, static design direction).
- Attend shoots to give social-first direction, ensuring content maps to platform behaviour and is maximised for edits, versions and hooks.
- Write platform-native copy and contribute to edit notes, hooks, caption variations and alt text where relevant.
- Actively manage communities across platforms with an understanding of tone, sub-cultures and conversation drivers.
- Spot high-potential comments/threads and turn them into content opportunities.
- Keep a pulse on how the audience is responding to content and feed that insight back into creative.
- Input into social strategies, campaign playbooks and tone-of-voice docs through a creative lens.
- Bring smart, platform-aware ideas to client creative meetings, strategy sessions and campaign planning.
- Support new business responses with social creative ideas, rapid concepts, decks and cultural insight.
