The Mission

Make NewGen Famous. That's the job. NewGen is a social-first agency working with some of the world's biggest brands, including Samsung, Sega, Logitech, Campari and Premier Foods. We're growing fast, launching new propositions in AI and more, and expanding internationally. What we haven't done yet is tell our own story as loudly as we tell our clients'. That's where you come in.

The Role

You'll own NewGen's brand, reputation and demand generation end-to-end. You'll build the strategy, the engine and the team that turns NewGen from "the agency behind the work" into the agency everyone in the industry is talking about. This is a builder's role. You'll inherit strong foundations, a distinctive brand identity, brilliant case studies and a leadership team hungry for profile, and you'll turn them into fame.

What You'll Do

  • Brand and Fame
    • Own and evolve the NewGen brand across every touchpoint, keeping it sharp, consistent and unmistakably us
    • Build and run a fame plan: awards, press, speaking slots, industry rankings, stunts and moments that get NewGen noticed
    • Position our leadership team and specialists as recognised voices in social, creator and AI marketing
  • Demand and Growth
    • Build a marketing engine that generates inbound opportunities and supports new business, working hand in hand with our new business and client teams
    • Own our owned channels: website, social, email and content, and make them best in class
    • Lead marketing support for new proposition launches
  • Content and Comms
    • Create a content programme that showcases our work, our thinking and our people: case studies, POVs, reports and thought leadership
    • Own PR and industry relations, building relationships with trade press and key industry bodies
    • Run our presence at key industry moments and events
  • Team and Operations
    • Build and lead a small, high-performing marketing team over time
    • Set clear KPIs for brand awareness, share of voice, inbound pipeline and reputation, and report on them to leadership
    • Manage the marketing budget with a commercial head

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience marketing an agency, creative business or B2B brand, ideally somewhere that punched above its weight
  • A track record of building fame: award wins, press coverage, standout campaigns or a brand people talk about
  • Strong instincts for social and content; you understand creators, platforms and internet culture
  • Commercial fluency: you connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue, not just impressions
  • The ability to operate at both altitude and ground level: setting strategy one hour, writing a killer LinkedIn post the next
  • Energy, taste and a bias for action

Nice to Have

  • Experience in social-first, creator, influencer or entertainment marketing
  • Experience in marketing new propositions or launching sub-brands
  • An existing network across trade press and industry awards bodies

What We Offer

  • A genuinely blank canvas with full leadership backing to make noise
  • A front-row seat at one of the most exciting agencies in social, at a moment of real growth
  • 28 days holiday per year, including bank holidays and a NewGen reset policy that entitles an additional 10 holiday days off per year (post probation)
  • Additional birthday day off & Christmas closure period
  • Ben Allowance - Subsidised bespoke benefits package giving you access to benefits you want
  • Access to Aviva Healthcare for private medical insurance (post probation), which includes free therapy and counselling sessions, along with a death in service benefit equivalent to 4x your annual salary
  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity policy and enhanced policies for same sex and non-binary couples
  • Enhanced compassionate leave so you can genuinely take the time you need
  • Flexible working hours
  • AI Budget - £30 a month to spend on AI to support your role
  • Company summer and winter social gatherings and away days
  • Community days - we give you time off to go support a cause you believe in!
  • Culture- Enjoy perks such as a fully stocked kitchen, happy hour, monthly vibes and team bonding activities
