Newforma is currently seeking an experienced Account Manager with a proven track record of significant over-quota achievement to join our team. The primary objective for this role is to nurture and grow the relationships with an existing portfolio of customers to generate up-sell opportunities within the base. The right candidate will be a “farmer” at heart, who has hands-on experience of managing a portfolio of 30+ clients, for both the Renewal and Add-ons. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Be the primary point of contact, voice for the customer, and build long-term relationships.
  • Develop and execute a game plan to grow your accounts through upsell opportunities.
  • Negotiate all aspects of the renewal process.
  • Develop win/win negotiation strategies that maximize contract value while enhancing the customer relationship and the value they receive from our products.
  • Help customers through phone, email, online presentations, screen-share and in-person meetings.
  • Being a trusted advisor is something you will be aiming at re-earning every day with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Proactively identify business challenges, accounts at risk, and develop recommended solutions through the promotion of Newforma products and services.
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
  • Work with our Customer Success Managers to monitor and analyze client’s usage of our products.
  • Work with CSMs and clients to create a plan to increase adoption.
  • Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and further develop client relationships.

Requirements for the position include:

  • 6-10 years of proven Account Management or other relevant experience working directly with existing clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.

  • Expert at using the Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
  • Experience with Newforma products, Autodesk products, Trimble, Procore and other AECO specific software is preferred.

This is a remote, full-time, customer-facing position located in EMEA with expected travel of 30%.

Nice to have qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience working in the construction industry, either at a firm or a software company.
