We have the perfect job for you in our vehicle and plant workshops at the Marsh Lane Workshop, Lymington. As a skilled HGV Mechanic in our expanding, in‑house workshop facilities, your work will be varied.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine servicing and maintenance on HGVs, LCVs, and plant.
  • Diagnose faults on vehicles and plant.
  • Carry out quality repairs.
  • Operate welding, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Use computerized diagnostic systems such as Texa, Jaltest or similar.
  • Trace and rectify intermittent and complex electronic faults.
  • Design and fabricate components to enable repairs.

Qualifications

  • Time‑served apprenticeship or equivalent training to City and Guilds Mechanics Certificate, IMI or BTEC.
  • Substantial experience in vehicle or plant repairs and maintenance.
  • Good general education.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • Preferably hold an HGV licence and Driver CPC certification (training available).
