Interaction Education are recruiting on behalf of one of our partner schools for a Receptionist/Administrator to join the team on a full-time, temporary basis.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working within a school office. Candidates without this experience will not be considered for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and parents in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Maintain accurate school records and data, including student attendance and information.
- Support with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Organise and schedule meetings, appointments, and events as required.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
- Assist with the coordination of school events and activities.
- Provide support for the school leadership team with general office tasks.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role, ideally in a school or educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management software (or willingness to learn).
- A friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in a school environment.
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete training).
- Knowledge of SIMS or other school management systems.
