We are recruiting for our client, a start-up restaurant/bar in the Watford area. If youβre passionate about hospitality and looking to make your mark in an exciting new venture, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and serve guests with a friendly and professional attitude
- Take orders and deliver food and beverages efficiently
- Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell where appropriate
- Handle payments and manage the point-of-sale system accurately
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
- At least 2 years of bartending experience (3 years would be ideal)
- Great communication and customer service skills
- No specific qualifications required, but relevant experience is a must
- Local to the Watford/Bushey area
- Availability for a minimum of 30 hours per week primarily working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with flexibility depending on business needs
- Please note: Due to the nature of the role and handling of alcohol, applicants must meet the legal minimum age requirement of 18
