We are keen to talk to a variety of people from Assistant Planners to Planning Managers to support on or lead planning activity across a portfolio of residential sites, supporting strategic land promotion, planning applications, and the progression of schemes through the planning process. We are considering applications from Assistant or Graduate Planners looking to develop their careers in a growing business through to experienced Planners looking to refine or utilise existing skills, and work with a large degree of autonomy. As the business grows there is great scope for the right individual to naturally progress whilst having dedicated support. This is a great opportunity to join a growing business, work on high-quality residential developments, and build strong relationships with colleagues, consultants, and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support planning activity across a portfolio of residential sites including managing planning applications.
- Support strategic land promotion efforts and provide planning advice on new development opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, consultants, stakeholders, and internal teams, working across the development cycle.
- Monitor changing policies and legislation, oversee planning conditions, obligations, and key milestones, while keeping trackers up to date.
About You
- Degree and Master’s in Planning, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Chartered membership of RTPI or RICS, or working towards accreditation.
- Experience of managing or assessing planning applications, ideally within residential development, housebuilding, or consultancy.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
