Do you see the potential in business systems and get excited about making things work better?

We are looking for a Head of Business Systems / Business Systems Manager to take ownership of our business systems development, with COINS at the heart of the role. This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference to how the business operates, leading projects, improving processes and helping our teams work smarter, not harder.

Working in collaboration with Sales, Production, Finance and the wider business, you will have the opportunity to challenge the status quo, turn ideas into practical solutions and ensure our systems evolve alongside the business. This isn’t a traditional IT support role. With day to day helpdesk queries managed separately, your focus will be on projects, improvement and making things happen.

About the role:

  • Driving COINS forward – identifying opportunities to improve functionality, streamline processes and get more value from the system.
  • Leading projects end to end – identifying business needs, designing practical solutions, managing implementation and measuring whether the change delivers the intended results.
  • Process improvement – working with teams across the business to remove inefficiencies, reduce manual work and improve how information flows.
  • Unlocking better insight – improving reporting, data quality and management information to support better decision making.
  • Bringing people together – working with stakeholders, software providers and external partners to turn business challenges into effective solutions.
  • Shaping what comes next – developing a forward looking systems roadmap that supports the company's ambitions and future growth.

About you:

You will combine strong business systems expertise with a practical, commercially minded approach. You will also bring:

  • Experience working with COINS, preferably within housebuilding, construction or property development.
  • A track record of delivering systems projects and business process improvements.
  • The ability to understand how different parts of a business operate and identify where systems can make a real difference.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels and managing external suppliers.
  • A proactive, hands on mindset, someone who takes ownership, challenges existing ways of working and gets projects over the line.

As part of working for Newett Homes and specifically for this role we offer:

  • Competitive Salary
  • Competitive Bonus Scheme
  • 25 days holiday (which will increase with length of service)
  • Pension contribution
  • Health Insurance
  • Company Car / Car Allowance

This is a chance to take real ownership of business systems and have a visible impact within Newett Homes.
