The predicted salary is between 24000 - 32000 £ per year.

Position Type: Full-time (40 hours a week)

Proposed salary: £28,000 per annum (or pro‑rated if on a shorter contract)

Job Summary: Your main role is cricket coaching and managing the NET facility. The role requires a strong background in cricket coaching, excellent communication skills, a passion for developing players' skills and knowledge of the game, a love for the brand, and ambition to help it grow. As a cricket coach, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging coaching sessions, assessing player development, and contributing to a positive and supportive training environment. You will also be required to manage rental bookings, ensuring each client receives an exceptional level of service, setting up the bowling machine for every session, and helping clients as and when they need it during their sessions. A key part of the role will be ensuring the facility is maintained to a high standard of tidiness during the shift. Whenever not coaching, the role will be facility management and client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality cricket coaching sessions for individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs and goals of players.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to players to help them improve their technique, fitness, and understanding of the game.
  • Monitor and assess player progress, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for cricket.
  • Assist in organizing and running cricket clinics, camps, and special events.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with the latest coaching techniques, trends, and developments in cricket.
  • Ensure the safety and well‑being of all participants during coaching sessions.
  • Maintain and care for coaching equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure the facility is maintained to an extremely high standard of cleanliness.
  • Ensure each client receives the same premium service each visit from both the facility itself and the staff.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a cricket coach, with a strong understanding of the game.
  • Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., ECB Level 2 or higher) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire players of all ages and skill levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Passion for cricket and a commitment to player development.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Background in playing cricket to a high standard preferred.
