As Senior Director, you will lead Total Rewards strategy, governance, and execution across EMEA/APAC to support Newell’s enterprise goals. You’ll partner with HR, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and regional teams to deliver market-competitive programs that balance local needs with global standards. You’ll drive regulatory readiness, including pay transparency initiatives, and simplify processes to improve the employee and manager experience. This role offers scope to shape scalable, data-driven Total Rewards solutions in a large, global organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional Total Rewards strategies aligned to business priorities and the Employee Value Proposition.
- Evolve global Total Rewards strategy for EMEA/APAC while preserving governance and consistency.
- Translate global strategies into regionally appropriate solutions balancing local practices and legal requirements.
- Advise senior HR and business leaders on strategy, market competitiveness, and trends.
- Identify opportunities to standardize and modernize Total Rewards across regions.
- Lead design, implementation, and governance of compensation and benefits programs (base pay, incentives, health, retirement, wellbeing, recognition).
- Ensure programs align with Job Architecture and global compensation philosophy; collaborate with Centers of Excellence.
- Monitor market trends and enhance programs to attract, motivate, and retain talent.
- Oversee regional execution of merit planning, structure updates, and benefit renewals with focus on quality and efficiency.
- Drive regulatory governance, reporting, and compliance related to pay transparency and equity.
- Lead analytics to inform decision-making and business cases for Total Rewards investments.
- Build and develop a geographically dispersed Total Rewards team and foster collaboration across functions.
