Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor
Location: Winchester, VA
As an Inspector-Assembler (Manufacturing Operator) in the Commercial Group, located in Winchester, VA, you will report to a manufacturing supervisor. This position will work as part of a team responsible for reviewing operator instruction sheets to assemble and/or package an entire product or a component of a product to manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble and/or package manufactured goods.
- Conduct regular inspections of manufactured goods to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Use computer to report defective pieces, problems with process, product, or manufacturing machinery.
- Maintain a safe and accident-free environment by adhering to safety standards and identifying safety issues.
- Keep work area clean.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred; experience will be considered in lieu of education.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to lift 40lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be a team player and able to communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership.
- Forklift experience required.
