Your Role in Nutshell

To continue with the implementation of our current PEAK continuous improvement program at Fradley DC. Coaching and training PACS leads, System Owners, and System Leads to obtain standards of excellence throughout the facility, in productivity, safety, orderliness and waste management in operations. Reporting to Fradley PEAK Implementation Manager. This role will also provide analysis, productivity & training which will ensure that the level of skills and efficiency within floor operations and admin teams remains high. The PEAK Assistant will support the PEAK Manager with improvements within the operations at Fradley DC to include productivity (labor, overhead, material), quality improvements, & efficiency increase by implementing Operational Excellence methodologies & best practices to maximize Fradley DC performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of PEAK through Climb 1 - Summit, support the PACS leaders and monitor progress and develop where required.
  • Identify & execute activities within the warehouse operations via PEAK toolbox to reduce waste in process using PEAK theory processes.
  • Support floor team, identify inefficiency areas, create, and execute improvements actions master sheet.
  • Backup PACS Leaders for PACS Meetings and carry out Audits, monitor Flag charts.
  • Report back all results and actions taken to Senior D/C Manager and Peak executive team.
  • Support the efficiency improvements and PEAK program on Fradley site.
  • Work closely with EMEA Central PEAK team.
  • Lead key systems (EO/6S/SW/T&S) activities to reduce costs and improve Lead Time performance.
  • Initiate, track, and execute change management plans/projects identified.
  • Establish Visual Management processes to develop performance.
  • Execute projects that will support warehouse in setting up Labor Management System and Engineering Standards.
  • Project leading initiatives and report progress to senior leadership.
  • Lead Kaizen events to drive improvements.
  • Mentor Warehouse staff in Peak Operational Excellence.
  • Support Fradley office and floor teams with ad-hoc and on-going reporting requirements relating to D&T and Productivity KPIs, measures and analysis.
  • Process and Procedure support within warehouse function and use knowledge of the PEAK systems to help drive more efficient use of the tools available. Including training and the writing of SOP training materials as and when required.
  • Identification of process improvement opportunities and potential projects in line with the Warehouse Management.

  • All PACS leaders in place
  • Be ready for Climb 1 and progress further to next level.
  • To improve the KPIs in all areas through improved efficiency

METRICS / DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE

  • Monthly Health checks
  • Sign off Audit by executive team on Climb 1 ready in 2028.
  • Support implementation of PEAK in the POC and Quality area

What You’ll Need:

Minimum:

  • Minimum 2 years direct experience of warehouse processes and PEAK systems (ideally PKmS also), knowledge of reporting within LM and other WMS
  • Advanced MS Excel and good command of other MS Office applications
  • Previous team management experience preferred.
  • Ability to present monthly reports and expand current PEAK systems

Your Advantage:

  • 5+ GCSE grade C or above, or equivalent examination level, with Maths and English preferred.
  • Six Sigma certificate welcome
  • Operational Excellence / Logistic degree required (min education Level 5 or above)
  • English Language level C2
  • Opex /PEAK experience recommended
  • To have controlled an implementation program/system
  • Have managed people
