Your new role at NewDay
As part of a successful Acquisition Marketing Team, you\’ll drive new customer acquisition growth and media spend efficiency through our owned brands. You\’ll develop, implement and optimise digital and social marketing campaigns to continuously deliver against our key success measures of customer acquisition volume and cost per acquisition. This will deliver significant income and profit to NewDay.
You\’ll be a key part of the direct acquisition performance marketing team, leading agency partners to drive performance in Paid Search, Social, Display and Refer a friend channels through creative and performance-driven digital campaigns. You will help to develop the media plans and creative strategies for these channels, and be held accountable too for the performance of your campaigns. Developing and executing campaigns that deliver outstanding results, owning this process from brief to evaluation. And you\’ll review and report on performance data alongside market, customer and competitor insight to help shape your future campaign plans.
This role is a fixed term position until February 2026.
You\’ll deliver
- Set clear marketing campaign objectives, have budget and media planning responsibility, and help to define the strategy across digital acquisition. Turn this into inspiring campaign and creative briefs, that will allow our agency partners to build stand out campaign work and drive performance across these channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Brand, Legal and Studio, to deliver your campaigns and drive performance within budget. Evaluate every campaign using a range of performance metric data to help build a future digital strategy that supports acquisition growth. Always be testing and learning. Measure all points in the customer journey to identify improvement areas, and provide the best acquisition experience.
- Lead updates on digital channel performance and communicate this to senior stakeholders, including what support you need from the business to drive forwards your plans. Support the Senior Manager, Performance Marketing to build the longer-term strategy across digital, with accountability for Paid Search and Social/Display channel performance.
What you\’ll bring
We need knowledge, experience + expertise in:
- Delivering commercial success through implementing stand out marketing campaigns.
- Working well with numbers and having superb problem-solving skills, demonstrating your ability to use multiple sources of data and insight to fully understand campaign performance.
- Digital marketing experience (paid search, social and display) and a track record of working with, and getting the best out of agency partners and internal teams.
- Writing clear and concise creative briefs pulling in multiple pieces of insight and crunching down into clear objectives.
- A good understanding of how to measure digital marketing campaign performance, including use of attribution techniques, including last click.
- Communicating sometimes complicated campaign performance stories more widely to teams with different levels of marketing understanding.

- Credit Card/Financial Services experience
- Experience/understanding of Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager/Google Ads/Facebook Ads
