As a Specialist, Credit Insights, you’ll turn complex data into clear insight that helps us understand where our customers and credit portfolio are heading. From forecasting arrears, insolvencies and account balances to identifying emerging risks and opportunities, you’ll investigate the numbers, spot the story behind the data and help shape better business decisions.

This is a role for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and investigative. You won’t just produce reports — you’ll challenge the data, explore what’s driving the trends and translate your findings into insight that stakeholders can act on. You’ll work closely with Credit Risk, Finance, Strategy and Customer Insights teams, with the opportunity to make a visible impact across the credit lifecycle.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Forecast and analyse credit performance, identifying trends across arrears, insolvencies, balances and other key portfolio outcomes.
  • Interrogate large datasets to uncover patterns, emerging risks and opportunities, turning analysis into meaningful business insight.
  • Develop and improve forecasting, MI and analytical processes, helping turn individual analysis into scalable and repeatable solutions.
  • Visualise and communicate complex findings through compelling dashboards and presentations that make data easy to understand.
  • Collaborate across teams, partnering with Credit Risk, Finance, Strategy, Customer Insights and Data teams to support informed decision-making and business change.

We're looking for these essential skills:

  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills, with the ability to interrogate complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Advanced Excel experience skills, with the ability to build robust analysis and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a naturally curious approach to investigating trends and asking the right questions.
  • Experience creating data visualisations and management information, making complex data accessible to different audiences, e.g., Power BI.
  • The ability to present and explain analytical findings clearly, adapting your approach for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

It’s a plus if you also have these skills:

  • Experience working within Credit Risk, credit analytics or financial services.
  • Experience using Python or SAS for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience working with Snowflake or other modern data platforms.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, with an understanding of data governance and controls.
  • A strong statistical or quantitative background, with experience applying analytical techniques to real business problems.
