This is a 5-month fixed term contract. The Specialist, Commercial FP&A plays a central role within a high performing Finance team, where you'll be running cost lines, forecasting and partnering with our IT and/or Servicing stakeholders.
How you'll contribute
- The role is responsible for delivering high quality financial planning and analysis across NewDay, including:
- Supporting the annual budgeting process, monthly and weekly forecasting, and preparation of management information and projections for the Management & Exco Committee.
- Providing commercial finance support for investment business cases, tracking delivery against the five-year strategic plan, acting as the key finance contact for activity including change investment analysis, forecasts, approvals and vendor support.
- Ownership of month-end performance reporting, variance analysis and financial modelling, including development and maintenance of our Anaplan model to support pricing, forecasting and performance management.
- Enabling strong financial governance, insight and decision-making across NewDay.
- By providing clear, actionable insight into performance drivers, investment returns and resource deployment, the role supports effective prioritisation, cost control and long-term value creation.
- Partnering to ensure finance is embedded within strategic and operational discussions, strengthening delivery confidence, supporting transformation outcomes and enabling us to make informed, forward looking decisions aligned to business strategy.

- Strong FP&A expertise - leading budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning
- Advanced financial modelling & insight generation - turning data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Commercial acumen - evaluating investment cases and linking financial outcomes to strategy
- Senior stakeholder partnering - influencing decision-making at Executive level
- Planning systems & tools experience - ideally Anaplan or similar, with a focus on improving processes
