In this role, you’ll be joining a successful sourcing function and independently manage your own portfolio of suppliers while collaborating closely with Senior Sourcing Specialists. It’s a hands-on commercial position where you’ll influence contract negotiations, shape supplier relationships and directly support teams that drive NewDay’s products and customer experience.
How you’ll contribute
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers across Marketing, Operations and Professional Services, supporting team-wide initiatives, spend reporting and continuous improvement.
- Lead commercial evaluations including reviewing contracts, analysing pricing, and coordinating with internal Legal, Risk, and Data Protection teams to support negotiations.
- Maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships, ensuring operational performance, understanding business needs, and managing multiple concurrent projects while acting as the central connector across teams.
- Act as a PO gatekeeper in Purchase2Pay system for selected suppliers.
We’re looking for these essential skills
- Prior Procurement experience, must include reviewing contracts and contract negotiation.
- Degree (or equivalent) or experience of a Procurement Graduate scheme.
- Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Excellent command of MS tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong numeracy skills and commercially minded with proven experience of pricing negotiations.
- Knowledge and understanding of Sourcing processes and Procurement risks.
It’s a Plus If You Also Have These Skills
- Financial Services or Regulated Industry experience.
- Procurement process development and implementation experience.
- Experience working with AI and Procurement.
- Experience working with Procurement/P2P systems and DocuSign.
