We are in half the time, spending the other half working from home.*Externally, this job could also be known as: Senior People Advisory Manager, Senior Employee Relations Manager, Senior Manager (Employee Relations), Head of Employee Relations***What you will deliver*** Oversee the delivery of employee relations support to managers and colleagues through consistent and effective case management practices.* Proactively coach and support managers in handling the full range of employee relations matters, encouraging informal resolution where appropriate and ensuring alignment with policies and procedures.* Contribute to the continuous improvement of people policies and practices, supporting regular reviews and implementing updates where necessary.* Manage and coordinate external employment claims, balancing legal and business risk while upholding NewDayβs values and standards.* Implementation of organisational change and undertake colleague consultation activity.* Manage a team of 2 People Advisory Specialists to deliver commercially focussed advice.**Skills and Experience****Essential*** Possess a comprehensive understanding of employment law and employee relations practices, ensuring effective management of related issues.* Demonstrate high levels of self-motivation and the ability to work independently, driving results with minimal supervision.* Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, adept at conveying complex information clearly and effectively.* Show flexibility and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, maintaining focus and effectiveness in challenging situations.* Highly organised with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.* Can make informed decisions that appropriately balance business needs with legislative requirements.**Desirable*** Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to provide a commercially focused advice service aligned with business needs and strategic priorities.* Work collaboratively with People Solutions to build capability to ensure cases are escalated at the right time, and any contractual changes are effectively executed.* Can make informed decisions on when to escalate or handoff to External legal counsel in a timely manner.*Externally, this job could also be known as: Senior People Advisory Manager, Senior Employee Relations Manager, Senior Manager (Employee Relations), Head of Employee Relations*#LI-TT1**We work with Textio to make our job design and hiring inclusive.**Permanent #J-18808-Ljbffr
