This is an exciting opportunity to join the Organisation Design team at NewDay, working at the intersection of workforce data, people insight and business planning. In this role, you’ll play a central role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and effectiveness of workforce data - providing the foundation for confident, data-led decision-making across the organisation.
Alongside owning and maintaining high-quality workforce data in Workday, you’ll be supporting the developing of insight, identifying patterns in data, and contributing to a forward-looking approach to workforce decisions.
How you’ll contribute
- Own and maintain high-quality workforce data in Workday, including managing organisational structures, role changes and ensuring data accuracy through regular audits and reconciliation.
- Deliver reliable workforce reporting and dashboards, providing clear visibility on headcount, FTE, vacancies and organisational trends.
- Support workforce planning and forecasting activity, working with People and Finance teams to ensure data is accurate and aligned.
- Analyse workforce data to identify trends, inconsistencies and emerging patterns, contributing to insight and improved decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact for workforce data, while continuously improving processes and data quality.
We’re looking for these essential skills
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high levels of data accuracy and integrity across complex datasets.
- Experience working with workforce or HR data, including a solid understanding of headcount, FTE and organisational metrics.
- Experience identifying trends or patterns in data and translating them into insight.
- Competent Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate data and support reporting and analysis.
- Ability to communicate data clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive and curious mindset, with an interest in developing insight and moving beyond reporting over time.
It’s a plus if you also have these skills
- Experience working with Workday or a similar HRIS, including maintaining organisational structures and position data.
- Exposure to workforce planning, people analytics or organisational design.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools to visualise data.
- Understanding of financial processes or experience supporting budgeting and forecasting.
