Acting as a subject matter expert across reconciliation processes, the role provides guidance to the wider business on queries and process understanding, while working closely with the Finance Systems team to support the ongoing development and administration of the ReconNet reconciliation tool and drive improved automated match rates. The role delivers value by strengthening financial control, reducing operational risk and helping safeguard Free Cash Flow through robust and consistently applied reconciliation controls.

By supporting team capability through training, knowledge sharing and cross‑skilling across NewDay platforms and D2C/MO brands, the Senior Reconciliation Analyst helps build a resilient and efficient reconciliation function. Their focus on identifying efficiencies, improving automation and collaborating across functions enables faster issue resolution, minimises operational losses and supports accurate, reliable financial reporting that underpins effective business decision‑making.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Own and support delivery of reconciliation controls to ensure Financial Control Framework (FCF) objectives are met, minimising operational losses and ensuring timely completion of GL and balance sheet reconciliations in line with policy.
  • Drive efficiency, automation, and risk reduction across reconciliation processes, working cross‑functionally and in close partnership with Finance Systems to optimise ReconNet configuration, automated match rates, and new system changes.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert for Finance Operations reconciliations, providing guidance on complex queries, month‑end balance sheet reviews, and escalation of reconciliation risks across Operational and Finance teams.
  • Lead performance oversight and issue resolution, supporting the Reconciliation Manager through KPI reviews, incident management, cross‑team problem solving, and timely resolution of reconciliation breaks and control issues.
  • Develop people, capability, and relationships, ensuring the reconciliation team is well‑trained across systems and products, supporting UAT and live testing, and maintaining strong relationships with senior finance leadership and external partners.

We're looking for these essential skills:
