This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or build their career in HR. You don’t need a specific degree or formal HR qualification, instead, we’re looking for a positive, proactive individual with strong organisational skills and a confident, clear communication style. Sitting at the heart of the People team, you’ll support our managers and colleagues with policies, systems, and data, while maintaining high-quality and accurate colleague records. Please note, this is a 6 month FTC, with the possibility to become permanent.
How you’ll contribute
- Reviewing and responding to incoming queries in the People mailbox.
- Using Workday (our HR system, training will be provided) to update colleague records, process tasks, and help enable smooth people processes.
- Signposting colleagues and managers to self-serve content where appropriate, while stepping in with support when needed.
- Flagging more complex or specialist queries to subject matter experts across the wider People team.
- Supporting process improvements or project work to help make things simpler and smarter.

- Maintain accurate, high-quality colleague records in Workday, supporting a smooth and efficient colleague experience.
- Make it easy for colleagues to get what they need through simple self-service, while being ready to step in with personal support when it matters most.
- Be a trusted point of contact for colleagues – from talking someone through their family leave options, to meetings with managers who need guidance.
- Support People team projects and continuous improvement work, always looking for ways to make things simpler, smarter, and more people-centred.
