We’relooking for an experienced Product Designer to join the Product &Technology team at Newcross Healthcare, helping shape digital products used byhealthcare professionals, care providers and our internal teams.
Thisis a hands-on opportunity to solve complex problems and turn them into simple, intuitive, accessible experiences that genuinely make a difference.
You’ll beinvolved across the full product lifecycle — from discovery, research andprototyping through to delivery, measurement and continuous improvement.

We’re more interested in how you think, solveproblems and work with others.
Experience in Saa S, marketplaces, workforcetechnology, logistics, fintech, travel, booking platforms or other complexoperational products could translate well.
You’llwork closely with Product Managers, Engineers, users and senior stakeholders, helping shape both individual features and the wider direction and quality ofour products.
What will you do?

- Working with Product Managers, Engineers and stakeholders to understand problems, exploreopportunities and shape product direction.
- Translating complexworkflows, systems and requirements into clear, simple and intuitiveexperiences.
- Conducting andcontributing to user research, usability testing and discovery activities.
- Using qualitative andquantitative insight, behavioural data and product metrics to inform andvalidate design decisions.
- Creating user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity product designs.
- Working closely with Engineers throughout delivery to make sure the intended experience is broughtto life effectively.
- Defining appropriatemeasures of success and using feedback and product performance to identifyopportunities for improvement.
- Contributing to andevolving our design system, helping create scalable, consistent and accessibleexperiences.
- Championingaccessibility and inclusive design throughout the product development process.
- Clearly communicatingdesign rationale, including the evidence, assumptions and trade-offs behindyour decisions.
- Collaborating withother designers through critiques, workshops and knowledge sharing.
- Helping us continuouslyimprove how design works within cross-functional product teams.
- Exploring appropriateuses of
AI and emerging design tools to accelerate discovery, prototyping and delivery while maintaining a high standard of design quality.
What we’ll be looking for: (skills, experience + qualifications)
- Experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer or similar, ideally working on digital products ratherthan primarily marketing or brand work.
- A strong portfoliodemonstrating end-to-end product design, including the thinking anddecision-making behind your work.
- Experience workingwithin cross-functional teams alongside Product Managers and Engineers.
- Strong UX andinteraction design skills, with the ability to simplify complicated journeys, systems and workflows.
- Experience designingresponsive web products and/or native mobile applications.
- Confidence working withambiguity and making informed decisions when perfect information isn’tavailable.
- Experience using userresearch and usability testing to influence product decisions.
- An understanding ofproduct metrics and how design outcomes can be measured after launch.
- Strong prototypingskills and experience using tools such as Figma.
- Experience working withor contributing to design systems and reusable component libraries.
- A good understanding ofaccessibility and inclusive design principles, including WCAG.
Excellent communicationand stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to explain andconstructively defend design decisions.
- The ability to balanceuser needs, business goals and technical constraints rather than consideringdesign in isolation.
- Experience mentoring orsupporting other designers and helping raise the quality of design across ateam.
- Confidence working withsenior stakeholders and communicating the evidence, rationale and trade-offsbehind significant product decisions.
