Female Support Worker Job in Newark, Nottinghamshire (NG23)
£14.25 to £16.35 per hour. Full time and part time flexible shifts available.
About the role
Newcross Healthcare is recruiting experienced Female Support Workers in Newark to provide high quality care in care homes and local community settings. Due to the rural location of the client, you must be a driver. You will support people with daily living, promote independence and help them live safely and comfortably.
Your responsibilities
- Provide personal care and practical daily support.
- Assist with moving and handling where required.
- Promote dignity, comfort and wellbeing at all times.
- Work as part of a wider care team to deliver person centred support.
What you need
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A minimum of 6 months of paid UK care experience in the last 3 years
- Relevant registration for applicants in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland (e.g. SSSC, SCW, NISCC) - not required in England
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
