We are looking for an exceptional Care Assistant to join the Newcross team in Largs and be part of a supportive and rewarding environment where your contributions truly matter.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Supporting patients with mobility and safe movement
- Assisting with meals and ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Working closely with nurses and healthcare professionals
- Observing and reporting any changes in patient condition
What you need:
- Right to Work In the UK
- Experience – 6+ months of paid UK care experience within the past 3 years.
- Registration – If applying in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland, you’ll need the relevant SSSC, SCW, or NISCC registration (not required in England).
- Qualities – A compassionate nature, professionalism, and teamwork skills.
- Skills – Ability to support clients with personal care, mobility, and daily activities.
